Offering a spectacular bird’s eye view of the wondrous Alaskan landscapes, these trips will be a highlight of any vacation. While there are three set itineraries, guests have the scope for customized trips to suit their interests, although these can be subject to weather conditions, location of wildlife and aircraft availability.
The itineraries on offer include a 2-hour wildlife and glacier heli-tour on which you will get aerial views of the ice field, mountains, waterfalls, and wildlife. The trip includes a landing and the chance to walk on a glacier. There is also a 6-hour heli-hiking tour, where hikers are dropped off for an easy and spectacular hike above the treeline. Hikers can either hike down for a boat pickup or request to be picked up back at the top by the helicopter for the journey back to the lodge. For those looking for the ultimate heli-safari, the lodge offers an 8-hour excursion that takes in glaciers, volcanoes, and bear viewing.
