A fond farewell to Laos, and you embark on a short flight to Bangkok, the bustling and electric capital of Bangkok. For families seeking a refined escape with easy access to Bangkok’s vibrant attractions, The Peninsula Bangkok is an excellent choice. Set along the Chao Phraya River, this luxurious hotel offers peaceful river views and world-class service, just a short boat ride away from the city’s dynamic center. Your guide will steer you through the crowd to visit the most famous highlights, the Grand Palace (former home of the Thai Royal Family) and Wat Pho, home to the iconic 45m (148ft) reclining Buddha. On west coast there is a tropical climate. The driest months to visit are December to March. November and April are also good months to visit and you may get some rain, although it is outside of the monsoon season. May to October is the monsoon with downpours occurring once or twice a day, rather than constant rain.
November to April is the best time to visit Laos and Bangkok with dry and warm weather, with March and April being the hottest months. October and May are also good months to visit with only a bit of rain. July to September are the wettest months.
