San Rafael Hotel is a grand colonial home which has been transformed into a lovely boutique hotel, whose focal point is its two central courtyards which provide a great space to relax and unwind. Colorful bougainvillea and lush green leaves can be seen in all directions and a trickling fountain adds to the tranquil atmosphere.
The property boasts just seven rooms and suites, making it ideal for couples as it offers plenty of privacy. Each of the rooms is unique, adorned with Guatemalan textiles and interesting antique furniture, with neutral walls, beautiful tiled floors and colorful rugs. Despite its traditional appearance, San Rafael has a host of modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay, including LCD HDTVs, rainfall showers and high speed WiFi.
Although there is no restaurant at San Rafael Hotel, breakfast is served out in the gardens and there are numerous great restaurants just a short walk away to take care of the other meals.
