HOTEL ALPEN RUITOR

The four star Alpen Ruitor is a cozy, Alpine style hotel, with a fabulous ski in / ski out setting on the slopes. The staff could not try any harder to make you feel welcome and for this reason, the Alpen Ruitor has gained a fabulous reputation in Méribel.

The location can hardly be beaten - it's just a few steps from the ski locker room to the lift which can take you to any of the Trois Vallées ski areas, meaning you can get a good couple of runs in before the Courchevel skiers come over the mountain! It's close to the ski school meeting point, and right by the nursery slopes, making it ideal for families with young children and beginners. There's tobogganing there too.

Extremely family friendly, the hotel prides itself on offering a flexible approach to dining by offering early children’s tea at 6.30pm in high season (there's a kid's menu) along with the option of taking half board for lunch instead of dinner. The food is international and traditional Savoyarde cuisine, with extensive breakfasts designed to set you up for the day. Lunch on the sunny terrace is highly recommended and the steaks are especially good. The restaurant, bar and drawing room are all welcoming and cozy, with a warming fire in the latter, making it a relaxing place to sit after a day's skiing.

The hotel has an intimate Spa with a range of treatments, and guests can also have an in-room massage. There is complimentary access to the Health and Fitness Center in Méribel which has an Olympic size swimming pool and ice rink. Guests can use the free shuttle service in the afternoons into Méribel center.
