Upon arrival in Montevideo, you will be transferred to the quaint colonial town of Colonia del Sacramento. Enjoy a relaxed couple of days as you meander through the cobbled streets of this pretty town, admiring the colonial architecture of its buildings and enjoy leisurely lunches out on its leafy plazas. There’s a very photogenic lighthouse that you can climb for an aerial view and finish the day with a glass of wine whilst watching the sunset over the mighty River Plate and Buenos Aires on the horizon.

In the afternoon, wander along the city’s waterfront taking in the glistening views and enjoy a coffee at one of the pavement cafés.
