The Highlands redefines the Ngorongoro experience. Set on the edge of the mountain forest hugging the Olmoti Crater to the north of Ngorongoro Crater, The Highlands strikes a perfect balance between a true wilderness experience and a stylish, contemporary escape. This is the highest altitude camp in the Ngorongoro Conservation area! Night time temperatures drop dramatically, but fear not, the wood burning stove in your tent will keep you nice and warm.

Located within the Ngorongoro Conservation area, The Highlands has a secluded position in the mountain forest near the Olmoti crater, to the north of the famed Ngorongoro Crater.

International flight into Kilimanjaro airport, the gateway to northern Tanzania. Either drive to the Ngorongoro crater - approx 4 hours, or take a light aircraft flight to nearby Lake Manyara airstrip which is approximately 45 minutes away from the camp.
