Situated on the Ntiakatek River, the Mara Plains Camp is located on the northern border of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve in the 30,000 acre Olare Orok Conservancy.
Mara Plains is a small, intimate camp located with the exclusive Olare Orok Conservancy, adjacent to the Maasai Mara, Kenya. Mara Plains has just seven uniquely designed canvas rooms on raised platforms, accommodating a maximum of fourteen guests.

Located on the Ntiakatek River, in the northern border of the Maasai Mara, within the 30,000 acre Olare Orok Conservancy and being one of only three camps in this conservancy Mara Plains has the lowest vehicle density in the region.
The beautiful camp is situated in a game rich area, and at night you can often hear the sounds of lion roaring or in the morning see traces of leopard that walked through during the night. As it is in a private conservancy guests can go for bush walks and night game drives, all of which can be arranged as and when you wish. There are no set rules or time schedules allowing you to tailor your stay to your personal preferences.
On morning game drives you will have the opportunity for a bush breakfast. Eat a sumptuous feast in the peaceful surroundings of the African bush. Evening game drives will feature the infamous sundowner - a long tradition in Africa where you enjoy a delicious drink, accompanied with some freshly made snacks whilst the sun is setting. The perfect end to an exciting day.
