Located on a ridge half an hour outside Pokhara, the lodge is an ideal base for guests to relax in a rural mountain setting, away from the bustle of Nepal’s cities. With a central lodge, bar and dining room, the comfortable rooms are arranged in clusters of cottages resembling a Nepali village. All have attached bathrooms, private verandas and Himalayan views. Daily table d’hôte menus feature a range of Nepali dishes and continental specialties made from local fresh ingredients and home-grown herbs and garden salads. Guests enjoy bird walks and day hikes through the forests and villages, escorted by trained local guides. The secluded, award-winning swimming pool reflects the white peaks. Situated on a spectacular hilltop ridge a thousand feet (305m) above the Pokhara Valley, it has panoramic mountain views of Machhapuchhare, and three of the world's 8,000m (> 26,000ft) Himalayan peaks, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu, in western Nepal.
10-hour flight (with one change) to Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, followed by a 1-hour domestic flight to Pokhara. Alternatively, it's a 4-hour drive to Pokhara.
