Jardin du Roy Hotel neighbours the well-known Relais de la Reine hotel, sharing facilities and grounds while maintaining their own independence. The luxury rooms have been well designed to blend into the natural surroundings. Each room offers spacious air-conditioned facilities with an ensuite bathroom. Rooms open onto the beautiful hotel garden along the bank of the Soarano River. Activities at the hotel include horse riding, hiking and exploring the surrounding area. Hotel Jardin du Roy is situated near the village of Ranohira, 240 kilometres from Tamatave on the southern boundary of Isalo National Park in the south west of Madagascar.

It is a 13-hour international flight (one stop) to Antananarivo Airport. From Antananaivo its then a 1-hour domestic flight to Tulear, followed by a 3-hour drive to Jardin du Roy.
