Solar da Ponte is set at the heart of the charming village of Tiradentes, overlooking the main square and the São Jose mountains, in the state of Minas Gerais in the East of Brazil.
São João del Rey Airport (12km away) is the closest airport and can be reached by from Rio's domestic airport, Santos Dumont (a 40-minute flight) or from Belo Horizonte (a 20-minute flight). The transfer from the airport to the hotel is a 30-minute drive.
