Cradle Mountain Lodge is set on the northern edge of the World Heritage listed Cradle Mountain-Lake St. Clair National Park in the pristine north western wilderness of Tasmania.

Regular flights are available from all Australian capital cities to Launceston with Jetstar or Virgin Blue, to Devonport with Qantaslink and to Hobart with Qantas or Virgin Blue. The Lodge is located 81 kilometres from Devonport (1.25-hours drive), 142 kilometres from Launceston (2.5-hours drive) and 375 kilometres from Hobart (4.5-hours drive).
