Designed to redefine the river cruise experience, the four-deck AmaMagna is double the width of traditional river ships, providing guests with a more spacious environment in which to relax. The flagship boat of the AmaWaterways fleet, the AmaMagna boasts boutique hotel style accommodation, expansive leisure facilities including a Zen Wellness Studio and full-size pickleball court, inviting public spaces, such as the pop-up sky bar, fireside libraries and chic cinema and a choice of four dining venues.

Renowned for high levels of service, the AmaMagna has limited guest numbers to a maximum of 196, maintaining a 2:1 guest-to-crew ratio. This ensures the ambience remains intimate and personal, despite its size. Each cruise also has the benefit of a Cruise Manager to ensure everything runs smoothly and all needs are met. 

Most of the 98 staterooms include a private balcony and standard amenities include climate control, Wi-Fi, flatscreen TV with entertainment system for on-demand movies and music, modern ensuite with hairdryer and daily complimentary bottled water. The suite accommodation is exceptionally spacious with full-width balconies and large seating areas. Interconnectivity makes the AmaMagna ideal for families and groups of friends.

Guests can choose from four distinct dining venues. The Main Dining Rooms serves buffet style breakfast and lunch, with three-course dining served at the table each evening, with a menu of international and regional cuisine. The Chef’s Table is an opportunity to watch the kitchen at work as they prepare superb regional specialities, and all guests enjoy the chance to dine here at least once. For lighter Mediterranean fare and a more plant-focused menu, head to Al Fresco, while Jimmy’s is a family-style venue with an informal vibe in which to share small plates and fabulous desserts. All meals are included as well as complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks at lunch, dinner and the Sip & Sail cocktail hour, which also includes spirits. Complimentary tea, coffee and bottled water is available 24/7.

The extra space onboard allows for a wide range of leisure facilities. The Sun Deck includes both a swimming pool and whirlpool, along with a full-size pickleball court. There is also a Zen Wellness Studio, with fitness centre, group classes, juice bar and treatment rooms for massage therapy. For unwinding with a drink, there are several bars. The elegant Main Lounge has ample room to relax and is the venue for nightly entertainment from local musicians and dancers, while there are also two fireside libraries, a pop-up sky bar and an onboard cinema.

All excursions are included, and the ship carries a fleet of bicycles for both independent and guided exploring along the way. Guided hikes are also on offer, along with city tours and enrichment experiences. The ship offers a range of Danube itineraries which include highlights such as Vienna and Budapest.
