The Green O

Made up of twelve uniquely designed 'hauses', each situated in a densely timbered hillside, The Green O is an exceptional choice for couples seeking out privacy and relaxation, as well as a side helping of Montana adventure. The property boasts enviable views down across the Blackfoot River Valley, and up to the Swan Mountain Range.

There are four distinctive 'haus' categories at The Green O, including Tree Haus, Round Haus, Green Haus and Light Haus. The four Tree Hauses are each elevated 15 feet up in the air, spanning across two separate floors, linked with a spiral staircase. As well as a separate lounge area and a ground-level hot tub, the Tree Haus also boasts two separate decks - perfectly situated to admire the spectacular views with a glass of wine in hand. Elsewhere, the three Round Hauses are located in the centre of the forest and feature a bedroom, separate lounge area with fireplace, hot tub, as well as a rooftop deck: perfect for stargazing.

The four Green Hauses, which are hidden away in the forest, feature a private deck, a crackling fireplace, and a skylight in the bedroom, from which spectacular night skies can be enjoyed from the comfort of your bed. Finally, The Green O features one unique Light House which has been cleverly designed to let in the light through its expansive floor to ceiling glass windows. Marvel in the spectacular views from the hot tub on the private deck, or wind away the night roasting marshmallows by the fireplace.

Of course, no stay at The Green O is complete without a hearty Montana meal or two. Located at the centre of the resort, the Social Haus is the true heart of the property and is a short walk from the private accommodation. Here soaring windows open to the outdoors, allowing the cooking aromas to mingle with the fresh, pine-scented air and, with an inner circle bar, a dining area with open kitchen, and an intimate lounge, there are plenty of options to take advantage of during your stay at The Green O. The open plan kitchen is always a source of amazement with its live fire cooking, where flames kiss ranch-raised meats and grill them to perfection.

When not relaxing on the balcony of your private Haus, or devouring lovingly prepared dishes at the restaurant, make sure to take advantage of the multitude of experiences on offer. From horseback riding to fly-fishing, and archery to hiking trails, there really is something for everyone. For those looking for a bird’s eye view of the spectacular Montana scenery, hot air balloon rides and private helicopter tours can both be organised. Whilst down at ground level, watersports are available at nearby Salmon Lake, and guided canoe trips can be arranged at Clearwater River.
