The natural setting of the resort away from the centre gives it a relaxing atmosphere; the river in particular helps to create a sense of tranquillity.
A few nights spent here, or indeed longer, will give you enough time to enjoy exploring the region. Chiang Rai is rich in culture and history with lots of colourful markets and beautiful temples to see. It is best explored by bike! There are several day and half day trips available where you can explore other local areas, a must is to go and see the boarder where Laos, Thailand and Burma all meet. There are also several festivals which take place throughout the year where you can see local writers, musicians and artists at their best.
The natural setting of The Legend makes it a great place to unwind taking in the river scenes whilst reading a book from the shade of the trees. The 200sqm pool has an integrated bubble bed providing a refreshing break from the warm sun. And there is of course the spa as well, the open air booths mean that there is no CD player in ear shot to soothe you, simply the flowing river and chirping wildlife.
