Lying at the base of the ski slopes, Airelles Mademoiselle Val d’Isere is a grand hotel, inspired by medieval architecture yet blending smoothly into the surrounds. With 41 Rooms, Suites and Penthouses, four restaurants and bars, a swimming pool, luxurious spa, magical Children’s Kingdom, a 70sq.m cinema and three upmarket boutiques, it is a sumptuous ski resort offering everything you could need, and more.
The grey stone walls, wooden beams and shale roof of the Mademoiselle reveal an interior of almost regal grandeur, with wrought wooden staircases, beamed ceilings, brocade furnishings and luxurious fabrics. From the Deluxe Room through to the Family Suites and the Four-Bedroom Penthouse, the accommodation is cosy yet refined, rooted in the present but with a thoughtful nod to the past. Complimentary wifi, Apple TV and an iPad keep you connected, while wooden floors, rugs and antique-style furniture add a dash of alpine character.
Despite its location in the Place de Neige, surrounded by the life and conviviality of the bustling bars and restaurants of Val d’Isere’s social heart, Airelles boasts its own superb drinking and dining options. Soak in the sun over a long lunch on the Terrace with its spectacular mountain views, or have an evening of indulgence with raclette or fondue at Le Carnotzet. Enjoy refined French cuisine with an extensive wine list at Le VI, while the bar is open all day for an après-ski of fine wines, rare spirits and a tempting Champagne collection.
