Ideally located for exploring two of the region's World Heritage Sites, Six Senses Qing Cheng sits at the foot of the UNESCO-listed Qing Cheng Mountains and the Dujiangyan Irrigation Scheme dating back to 265 B.C. The eco-conscious resort has been designed to complement the surrounding landscape resembling a traditional Sichuan village with low rise buildings, sweeping Chinese roofs, bamboo and wood furnishings and modern amenities. The suites and villas are well-appointed, comfortable and spacious with a modern oriental décor. The resort is a 60-minute drive from Chengdu airport.
The accommodation is designed round the one-bedroom suite. For those requiring more space, a Multi-Room Villa comprises two adjoining suites, while the larger Presidential Villa includes four adjoining suites across two storeys. With high ceilings, soft hues and natural timbers, the suites have a tranquil ambience. The bedroom flows into the living area; private balconies and courtyards have daybeds for enjoying the wonderful mountain views; spacious bathrooms include a rain shower and bathtub with a garden view and the lighting, air-conditioning and television are controlled by a Smart Phone App. Amenities include flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, safe and minibar.
Six Senses Qing Cheng has an organic garden and makes good use of the produce in its restaurants. For all-day informal dining head to Farm2Fork for both regional and international cuisine. Sala Thai serves classic Thai cuisine, while guests can enjoy private booth dining at 28Zodiac offering Sichuan specialities and Cantonese favourites. The space-themed Moon Bar mixes a great cocktail or head to The Square for dumplings and coffee.
